Argentinean pianist Martha Argerich is one of the world’s greatest pianists and has won legions of admirers for her uniquely expressive and spirited performances. MIF is thrilled to welcome her to Manchester for the first time, in collaboration with Manchester Camerata.

Artistic affinity between Argerich and Gábor Takács-Nagy, Music Director of Manchester Camerata, has inspired this concert, which features three works showcasing the diversity of the keyboard.

Argerich joins Takács-Nagy and Manchester Camerata in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 and the orchestra will be joined by pianist David Kadouch to perform Arvo Pärt’s rich and powerful Lamentate.
